ABOUT
Gender violence is a worldwide issue. It may happen to anyone regardless of age, race, religion or economical status. Experts from UN data suggest an average of 137 women across the world are killed by a partner or family member every day.
This type of discrimination takes different forms, from verbal threats and minimisation to human trafficking as well as sexual assault. Although it has been persisting for several generations, now is the moment to change “the tradition” -the gap between men and women has become unbearable.
The victim shall never remain silent. It cannot be denied, it is extremely challenging for the victim to speak up, hence, we want to demonstrate it is safe to look out for help.
In our school project, therefore, WE WANT TO MAKE A CHANGE.
We, Júlia Gregori, Lucia Rodríguez, Alba Purroy & Judith Azcona, will make a change.
Not your last tear, because you should not drown in fear
